Our five bed house is a homely environment where we offer a range of amenities for our young people. We work hard to refrain from looking institutionalised. Each young person will have their own spacious bedroom, furnished to a high standard with adequate storage space, a desk and chair and lockable cupboard for personal possessions.

Children and young people are encouraged to take ownership of their bedroom through their choice of bedding, posters, pictures, books and personal items. Children and young people will share toilet and bathing facilities. There is one large bath & shower room, one en suite bedroom and an extra walk in shower and toilet room downstairs.
Stenson Lodge is close to various bus links which give easy access to Derby City Centre and walking distance of Sinfin district centre which contains a library, various shops, medical and dental centre, optometrists and an Asda supermarket. A leisure complex containing a bowling alley, go carting, laser and Cinema are located just two miles away. Derby city centre provides children and young people with access to cinemas, theatre such as the Derby Playhouse, art galleries, museums, a large shopping mall as well as Derby County FC’s Pride Park stadium. Moorways Sports Complex, including a gym and swimming pool is located on the Derby ring road. There are also other recreational and cultural amenities, and parks that will allow young people to follow their interests. At the local School there are many clubs and activities on throughout the week.
